The Wizard's Labryinth: A History

The first version, click here, was created in January, 2008, and opened its doors to the members on February 3, 2008. Vs. 1 was a success at first, before everybody became too busy to roleplay and the site became dead. However, the plot, to me, was much too creative to let go, so I had created a second version, that is slightly different. I am proud to say that I think this is one of the first founders era roleplays to have hit Proboards.
The Inspiration
My inspiration was rather simple: I joined a very old, Harry Potter roleplay forum that was focused on creating something unique in the world of roleplaying, and it had done just that. Feeling a tad competitive, I wanted to create something as well. Through the process of thinking about an idea, however, I had actually wanted to make a unique Harry Potter fan fiction: something I'm a little better at doing, and that idea had eventually led to doing this as a roleplay, and hopefully it's unique and creative, something you may have never seen before.
The Name: The Wizard's Labyrinth
The Wizard's Labyrinth is the new name. I created this name due to a novel idea I had quite a few months ago. In its original title was the word labyrinth, a word that I have grown to be quite fond of. A labyrinth is similar to a maze, a set of complications or tasks someone needs to overcome. In this case, it's the Wizard's Labyrinth, where every character has their own set of obstacles that they need to conquer. This seemed to be very appropriate, especially in this time, because of the hard times these people are facing.
